Indeed Captain Wall :D

Looks like Tuesday and Wednesday may be OK days but nothing more at this stage. More low pressure lined up later in the week

What's all this about the jetstream moving then, Dave? Media full of reports that the summer's about to start (and long range forecasts for France, where I'm heading at the end of next week) show temps soaring into the mid 30's.

Temps next week here (Maine et Loire) are predicted to climb to low 30s, and no rain, dreading it as water pump for plants has packed up!
If its heat you seek on a holiday Mike ,then I am sure you will get it

Ta Carol, though it's possibly a tad warmer than I'd like - we'll be in Burgundy, just south-west of Dijon. Should bring the 'papillons du nuit' out though 8-) and I'll get a nice cyclist's tan!

Carol, hope you can sort out the pump - never mind a boy-type tan for Mike  The plants are far more important, what does he think keeps wildlife (moffs?) going? Jean & Graham

Boy's tan? :o As for plants, REAL plants can survive a drought, not the pampered wimps kept in the gardens ;)

Still looking very warm in the south at least next week. The jet edges north a bit allowing high pressure to build in which will be the first time since late May. 8-)
