I thought you might like to see a couple of pics from a sequence of shots I took of a Common Tern taking a bath. Took these back in July but only recently processed them. I love watching these Terns.

We certainly enjoyed seeing these great pics of the tern, and the beautiful dragonflies & lizard in the Photographs forum, Linda; you give us a lot of joy posting them on Moth Talk. :D Many thanks. Jean & Graham

Many thanks Jean and Graham - you are very kind and its much appreciated.

Im never sure whether to post them, or at least not too many of them, on a moth forum, but I guess when the moth season is quieter, its something to keep things going I guess.

I would still love to be able to devote a little more time to butterflies and moths, but I just cannot fit everything in, so maybe when I retire hey :)

Linda

  I just read your comment about "maybe when I retire" to Graham - his reply DOESN'T WORK. We find that we are busier than ever :D but it's great to be busy, should hate to be bored  Jean

LOL - oh yes, I know what you mean, the amount of people that I know who are retired and are really busy, but thats the point, being busy with things you would prefer to be doing (mostly lol) rather than 'having' to do when going out to work.
