Notes: Local, in woodland, gardens, orchards and parks, in the south of England, from Kent and Hampshire to Hertfordshire, and in the counties surrounding the Mersey. Probably under-recorded in Hampshire. Not recorded on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 4.8-8.1mm. The most distinctive of the Ectoedemia. Larva mines samara of Sycamore.
