Notes: Nationally scarce (Nb) in fens, damp woodland, marshes, river-banks and other damp areas throughout the British Isles. In Hampshire recorded infrequently, rarely in numbers, and less than annually, in scattered locations. Not recorded from the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 8-10.5 mm. Characterised by black apical dot and pair of oblique strigulae on each of costa and dorsum. Larva mines leaves of Mint.
