Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) on limestone downland and sandhills in northern England and western Ireland. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 12-14 mm. Larva feeds within young shoots of Burnet Rose.
