Nationally scarce (Na) in marshes, river-banks and other damp areas throughout England. Last recorded in Hampshire at Leckford in 1982 and not recorded from the Isle of Wight for over 100 years. Wingspan 8-9 mm. Larva mines leaves of Osier, over-wintering as a pupa in a cocoon.
