Main: (Gracillariidae / Lithocolletinae)
15.070 [B&F: 0348] Phyllonorycter quinqueguttella (Stainton, 1851)

Notes: Nationally scarce (Nb) on sand-dunes and heaths, mainly in coastal counties of Britain. In Hampshire restricted to Emer Bog and a few boggy areas in the New Forest. Not recorded from the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 6-7.5 mm. Imago seldom encountered at light, and more likely to be recorded in the larval stage, when mines are relatively easy to find where they are present. Larva mines leaves of Creeping Willow, over-wintering as a pupa in a cocoon.
