Vulnerable (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) on the coastal sand-dunes of east Kent, where it was first discovered in 1975. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 8-9 mm. Larva feeds within flowers of Viper's Bugloss, over-wintering in a cocoon.
