Vulnerable (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) on dry pasture and downland in south Wales and Cornwall. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 8 mm. Similar to E. triseriatella but head and frons white, although identification often needs to be confirmed by dissection of the genitalia. Larva mines leaves of various grasses.
