Nationally scarce (Nb) in orchards in southern and central England, north to Perthshire in Scotland, and in northern Wales and eastern Ireland (MBGBI Vol 4 part 2). In Hampshire recorded in recent years only from Wildhern and Newtown Common in the north, and Catisfield, Lyndhurst and Curbridge HWT reserve in the south. Not recorded from the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 12-16 mm. Larva feeds on Apple and Pear, living within a spun or rolled leaf.
