Notes: Very rare immigrant from southern Europe. First recorded in Britain on 20 February 1952 at Bexley, Kent, with a second on 1 February 1999 at Chessington, Surrey. The only records to date from the area covered by this website are of one on Hayling Island, and another at Burton, Christchurch (Dorset), both on 24 May 2009. Around that time it was recorded from Canford in Dorset, and was also found new to Ireland. Wingspan 7-10 mm.
