Suspected rare immigrant, or perhaps accidentally imported. Described from a single specimen said to have been taken in Devon, but not known from anywhere else in the world, and presumed to have originated from North America where there are a number of similar, closely-related species. Wingspan 29-31 mm. No evidence of breeding in the UK.
