Recorded infrequently through accidental importation in fruit from Asia, and most likely to be found in fruit and vegetable wholesalers and supermarkets. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 20-23 mm. Adults are yellow and covered with black spots on the forewings, hindwings and abdomen. Larva feeds on the skin of young and mature durian fruit, guava and several other hosts including citrus trees, papaya, eggplant, mango, cotton and apple, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
