Notes: Nationally scarce (Na) in hedgerows and woodland in parts of south-eastern England. In Hampshire known only from Botley Wood, where it was first seen in 1977. Not recorded from the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 18-26 mm. A fairly distinctive plume moth. Larva feeds on buds, flowers and leaves of Wild Rose, Dog-rose and Cultivated Rose.
