Notes: Common, in fens and marshes, throughout the British Isles. In Hampshire, most records have originated from Lower Test Marshes HIWWT NR, with an old record from Freshwater on the Isle of Wight and in "old" Hampshire, now Dorset, at Stanpit Marsh and Burton Meadows. Wingspan 19-29mm. Larva feeds on flowers, stems and leaves of Marsh Ragwort
