Occurrence in the British Isles unconfirmed, this central European species is included on the British list on the basis of a number of unconfirmed 19th Century records. Wingspan 20-24 mm. An unmistakable day-flying moth. Larva feeds on Common Sorrel and Sheep's Sorrel, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
