Notes: Nationally scarce (Na) on moorland in western Scotland, including Arran and the Inner and Outer Hebrides, but perhaps only a subspecies of Common Marbled Carpet C. truncata which it resembles. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 32-36 mm. Larva feeds on Heather and Bilberry.
