Common in pine woodland throughout much of the British Isles. In Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight probably the least common of the three widespread Thera species in the region. Wingspan 30-34 mm. For comparison with confusion species, click here. Larva feeds on Scots Pine and Corsican Pine.
