Nationally scarce (Na) in fens and marshes, in Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, northwards to Yorkshire. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 29-36 mm. Unmistakable. Larva feeds on seeds of Common Meadow-rue, over-wintering as a pupa.
