Very rare immigrant (less than 10 previous UK records) from eastern Europe, appearing in the south, now established in the Netherlands. First recorded in 1992 in Somerset and Hertfordshire, with a further example in Kent in 2005. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 18-26 mm. Unmistakable. Larva feeds on Goosefoot and Orache, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
