In Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight fairly widespread, and attached to cultivated juniper as well as the very local wild populations. Wingspan 17-21 mm. Shows a distinctive pale patch distad of the discal spot, and flies early in the year. Larva feeds on Juniper, over-wintering as an egg.
