1898 White Spot (Hypagyrtis unipunctata) (Haworth, 1809) - (Geometridae / Ennominae)

 

Notes: Occurrence in the British Isles unconfirmed. This North American species was said to have been recorded in the 18th Century. Wingspan 25-42 mm. Larva feeds on Birch, Oak, Lodgepole Pine and various other species of North American trees; no evidence of breeding in the UK.
