Notes: Common wherever there are coniferous trees throughout the British Isles. Widespread and fairly common in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 32-44 mm. Occasional green individuals of the form f. prasinaria, which can be confused with Light Emerald Campaea margaritata, are reported. Larva feeds on various coniferous trees, including Scots Pine, Norway Spruce and European Larch.
