Notes: Rare immigrant from southern Europe, appearing in southern England. In Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight in recent years, has occurred in 1961 (3), 1964, 1992 and 2006 (2). Wingspan 28-40 mm. Completely unmistakable. Larva feeds on various herbaceous plants, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
