Extinct in the British Isles; formerly in roadside verges, open grassland and woodland edges in parts of Breckland, where last recorded in 1969. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 32-36 mm. The only known larval foodplant in the UK was Spanish Catchfly, a rare and localised species.
