Notes: Common wherever there are oak trees, in broad-leaved woodland, parks and gardens throughout the British Isles. Widespread and reasonably common in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 32-39 mm. A regular visitor to light traps in autumn, usually in small numbers. Larva feeds on buds and leaves of Pedunculate and Sessile Oak.
