Notes: Common in woodland, fens, parks and gardens throughout the British Isles. Widespread and common in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 38-45 mm. Could be confused with Sycamore A. aceris. Larva feeds on Black and White Poplar, and Aspen, over-wintering as a pupa.
