Notes: Rare immigrant from the Channel Islands and northern Europe, appearing in southern England. Recorded for the first time in Hampshire (1995) and on the Isle of Wight in 1996, since when there have been over 20 records. Wingspan 44-50 mm. Larva feeds on Orache, Goosefoot and Knotgrass, with no evidence of breeding in the UK.
