Vulnerable (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) on chalk downland in the south of England from Kent to Dorset. In Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight recorded very sparingly in all three vice-counties. Wingspan 4.2-5.8 mm. Larva mines leaves of Self-heal, over-wintering as a pupa.
