Nationally scarce (Nb) in gardens and hedgerows throughout much of the British Isles. In Hampshire barely annual in scattered locations, mainly in the centre of the county. Not recorded from the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 9-12 mm. Larva feeds within fruits of Raspberry.
