Introduction
A rare Red Data Book species, in bogs, upland grassland and moorland in parts of Scotland. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 28-34 mm. Unmistakable. Larva feeds on Meadow Buttercup, over-wintering as an egg.
